After Cole lands on the outskirts of town, he heads towards the pretzel store and heads inside.
The inside of the store is filled with alot more smells and even a few flyers sitting at each table. He sees Rosey already seated at a bar stool as Wendell seems to be juggling a lot more trays of dough, getting them into ovens in a timely manner. Cole glances at one of the flyers on one of the tables, attempting to read it.
Rosey looks over her shoulder at Cole, "Good morning!"
The flier has an image of an area in town and a date. The WicketWoods memorial and sword show begins at sunrise and it states the Salty Sleeper cart will be available nearby, selling some of its more standard menu items.
Cole looks over at Rosey as he sits a seat away from Rosey, "Morning... Anything new happening?" He raps his fingers on his thigh, watching Wendell work.
"Actually I was about to ask you something. You didn't happen to see Lochlan lately have you? Like the past few days?" Rosey tilts her head some.
Cole pulls his gaze away from Wendell as he looks over at Rosey and shakes his head, "Uhhh, no... why?" Cole raises an eyebrow.
Rosey sighs, "She was supposed to meet me for a few days now for the uh- well she hasn't. I haven't seen her in uhh... how many days now?"
Wendell mentions as he quickly passes by, "Four days-"
Cole's face goes emotionless as he nods, "Right, any idea of where she went last?" he starts to pull up the address of the antique warehouse on his GPS.
Rosey shakes her head, "No idea. I just know we didn't meet up when were supposed to... oh maybe she went to get a haircut finally. That rats nest of hers would take a LONG time to tame."
Cole narrows his eyes at Rosey as he nods, "Uhuh, right well I have an idea of where she is so I'm gonna go look." Cole starts to get up from the stool, seeming slightly angry.
Rosey waves. "Have fun out there! Oh and tell her to bring double next time when she gets back! She will know what I mean!"
Cole shakes his head, "I won't." he heads out the front door and starts heading towards the warehouse.
He approaches a building that looks like a very small store front with tall front windows and a single door. A sign above the black overhangs reads, "Warren's"
On one side of the building is an alleyway it shares with a neighboring store but to the right of it is a small parking lot with two cars currently parked. Cole glances around inside and attempts to see if there's a way into the back from there.
Around the parking lot he sees a door next to a large garage door. Cole confidently walks over to the door and checks to see if it's locked. It's locked but as he gets closer he can see the garage door is slightly ajar. Cole tries to peer under the door and see what's in the room before going in.
He sees a large room and two doors. There's a few old empty picture frames propped up on the wall. Cole lifts the door open more and heads inside with a raised eyebrow as he looks for another door to get inside. The two doors ahead are a bit wider as if meant for carrying in larger items. Cole heads into the doors with confidence, hoping that alone will let him in.
The door opens to a dark room with a lightswitch on the opposite wall. Cole reaches for the light switch and flicks it on. On it flicking on there's a loud click as the door behind him slams shut and locks.
Cole sighs and hangs his head, "Shit, well my skin is gonna be a rug." Cole quickly enters a defensive fighting stance.
A speaker cuts on as well as a red light, "You are under arrest for trespassing. Please put your hands up in view."
Cole rolls his eyes and puts his hands up as he mutters, "No point in resisting..."
The door clicks and opens as he sees an armed guard enter. They hold a gun in one hand and approach and try to handcuff him. Cole lets himself get handcuffed as he whispers, "You'll regret this"
The guard huffs and starts to lead him out of the room, "A lot of talk coming from a thief.".
